John came on board as the Executive Director for Open the Bible UK in November 2022. He previously served as Lead Pastor of Grace Church Cheltenham for 9 years. Before leading this independent evangelical church, John was ordained in the Church of England. John has always loved collaborating with others to pioneer ambitious gospel initiatives, which is why launching Open the Bible in the UK is such an exciting challenge. John studied at Cambridge and Oxford. John and his wife, Cassie, live in Cheltenham on the edge of the Cotswolds with their three teenage sons.
