  • He will right all the wrong within you.
  • There will be purity.

3. Jesus is dealing with original sin and all its affects.

  • He will right all that is wrong with creation.
  • There will be glory.

Discussion Questions:

  • Pastor Scott said sin is not a preface to the gospel but a part of it. How is sin part of the good news?
    • Jesus is putting the world right regarding sin. More specifically: He is going to right every wrong done to you and by you; He is dealing with personal sin. He is also going to right all that is wrong within you; He is dealing with your indwelling sin. And He is even going to right all that is wrong with creation; He will deal with original sin and all its effects.
  • Read Romans 2:16. Does God’s judgment bring you comfort? Why or why not? How does believing the truth that Jesus is going to right every wrong done to you and by you change your life?
  • Read 1 John 3:2. Jesus is also going to right all that is wrong within you. In what ways does this give you hope?
  • Jesus will put the entire universe right. Think about that. Jesus will put the entire universe right. What do you long for Jesus to make right? Praise Jesus for the hope we have in His glorious future work!
