Kim Yoakum is a native of the Chicagoland area. She graduated from Trinity International University and met her husband, Sam, at the Focus on the Family Institute. She loved teaching first and second grades for eight years and now works full time raising her four beautiful children and two dogs in Knoxville, TN.
